Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Fledge is committed to providing a website and mobile application that are accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable U.S. state laws.

Our goal is for our digital products to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA at a minimum, and we are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA (W3C Recommendation, October 2023), which are widely recognized as the benchmark for web and mobile accessibility.

Scope

This Accessibility Statement applies to:

  • the Fledge website available at https://fledge.love/ and
  • the Fledge mobile applications made available through official app stores (the “Services”).

Our Accessibility Approach

In developing and maintaining the Services, we aim to ensure that content and functionality are:

  • Perceivable – information and user interface components are presented in ways that users can perceive, including through assistive technologies (e.g., text alternatives for non-text content, sufficient color contrast, support for screen readers);
  • Operable – user interface components and navigation are operable via keyboard and other input methods, with clear focus indicators and reasonable time limits, where applicable;
  • Understandable – content is written in clear and straightforward language, with consistent navigation patterns and predictable behaviors;
  • Robust – content is designed to be compatible with current and future user agents, including assistive technologies.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, Fledge:

  • incorporates accessibility considerations into the design and development lifecycle of new features and updates;
  • uses a combination of automated testing tools and manual review to identify and address accessibility issues;
  • works to ensure that key user flows (such as account creation, profile setup, browsing, messaging, subscriptions and support) are usable with screen readers and keyboard navigation;
  • provides text alternatives for meaningful non-text content where feasible, including images and icons;
  • strives to maintain sufficient color contrast, scalable text, and layouts that adapt to different devices and orientations;
  • trains relevant team members on accessibility considerations for design, content, and engineering.

Because accessibility is an ongoing process, we regularly review our practices in light of evolving technical standards, regulatory guidance, and feedback from users.

Third-Party Content and Technology

Our Services may integrate or rely on third-party content, components, or platforms (for example, SDKs, payment providers, maps, or embedded media). While we encourage our partners and vendors to provide accessible solutions, we do not control their code or content and cannot guarantee their conformance with accessibility standards.

Where feasible, we will:

  • choose third-party solutions that demonstrate a commitment to accessibility; and
  • provide alternative ways to complete key tasks if a third-party component presents an accessibility barrier.

Ongoing Compliance and Legal Framework

Fledge is a private business and is treated as a “public accommodation” under Title III of the ADA, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of our Services. Courts and regulators in the United States commonly look to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the technical standard for digital accessibility, and the U.S. Department of Justice expressly referenced WCAG 2.1 Level AA in its 2024 ADA Title II Final Rule. We also monitor guidance and enforcement activity from the U.S. Department of Justice and other authorities regarding digital accessibility, including newer rules and interpretations that may affect web and mobile app providers. Where the Services are available in the European Union, we also work toward conformance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which became applicable on 28 June 2025.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Fledge. If you experience any difficulty using our Services, notice any content, feature or functionality that you believe is not fully accessible to people with disabilities, or need an alternative format, please contact us:

Email: support@fledge.love

In-app: “Settings” section - “Report a problem”

When contacting us, please include:

  • the URL or screen where you experienced the issue;
  • a brief description of the problem;
  • any assistive technology, browser, and device you were using.

We will review your request and make reasonable efforts to respond and, where appropriate, improve accessibility or offer an alternative method to access the requested content or functionality.

Future Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We plan to:

  • continue reviewing our Services against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and progressively toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA;
  • periodically update this Accessibility Statement to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or technical standards;
  • explore opportunities to test with users of assistive technologies and incorporate their feedback into our roadmap.

If you have suggestions for how we can further improve accessibility on Fledge, we encourage you to reach out using the contact details above.
