Attendee Event Terms

Date of publication: October 14, 2026

These Attendee Event Terms (the “Attendee Terms”) apply each time you sign up for an in-person event created by another user (a “User Event”) in the Events section of Fledge. They are Additional Terms under Section 2.4 of the Fledge Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and form part of your agreement with Fleamily Inc. (d/b/a Fledge) (“Fledge”, “we”, “us”). Capitalized terms that are not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. Events hosted by Fledge are governed by the Official Event Terms instead.

PLEASE READ THESE ATTENDEE TERMS CAREFULLY. SECTIONS 3 AND 4 CONTAIN AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND A RELEASE OF CLAIMS AGAINST FLEDGE, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON THE NEGLIGENCE OF FLEDGE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE EVENT.

1. Who organizes User Events

1.1. User Events are organized by their Hosts, not by Fledge. Fledge provides only the technology through which Hosts publish Events and Users sign up for them.

1.2. Fledge is not the organizer, co-organizer, sponsor, agent, partner, insurer or supervisor of any User Event. Fledge does not attend or monitor User Events, does not provide staff or security, and is not an emergency service. The Host is not an agent, contractor, employee or partner of Fledge.

1.3. Before a User Event is published, Fledge reviews its description for compliance with the Community Guidelines. This review is not an inspection or approval of the Host, the venue or the Event. Fledge does not verify the venue, any permits or licenses, the capacity of the venue, the safety of the Event or whether the Event will take place as described. Statements in the listing, including that the venue is a public place, are statements of the Host.

1.4. Where the Services show that a Host or a guest is verified, this means only that a selfie submitted by that User matched the User’s profile photos. FLEDGE DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON HOSTS OR GUESTS and does not check their identity documents.

1.5. Compatibility indicators shown in Events are based only on answers to the Hello Style test. They do not assess any person’s intentions, honesty or safety.

1.6. If the listing of a User Event contains a link to an external website (for example, to buy a ticket), any purchase is a transaction between you and the seller. Fledge is not a party to it, does not verify the seller and is not responsible for payments, refunds, cancellations or changes.

2. Your responsibilities

By signing up for a User Event you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old and you will not bring anyone under 18 to the Event;
  • you have read the listing and the Safety & Safe Dating Tips, and you decide for yourself whether the Host, the venue and the Event are suitable for you;
  • you will comply with the Terms, the Community Guidelines, the rules of the venue and applicable law, including the legal drinking age;
  • you are responsible for your own conduct, health, belongings, consumption of alcohol and travel to and from the Event;
  • your sign-up is personal: you will not pass your sign-up confirmation to another person or share the address of the Event or the guest list outside the Services.

3. Assumption of risk

3.1. Attending a User Event means meeting people you do not know, in person, at a place that Fledge has not inspected and at an event that Fledge does not attend. You take part voluntarily.

3.2. You understand and accept the risks of attending, travelling to and from, and taking part in a User Event, including the risk of:

  • bodily injury, illness and death;
  • loss of or damage to property;
  • emotional distress;
  • the conduct of the Host, other guests, venue staff and other third parties, including harassment, assault, theft and fraud;
  • the consumption of alcohol or other substances by you or by others;
  • the condition of the venue and its surroundings;
  • cancellation of the Event or changes to it.

3.3. You assume these risks to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Release

4.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Fledge, its parent and affiliated entities and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and licensors (the “Fledge Parties”) from all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to a User Event, including your attendance, your travel to and from the Event and the acts or omissions of the Host, other guests, the venue or any other third party, and you agree not to bring any such claim against the Fledge Parties.

4.2. THIS RELEASE INCLUDES CLAIMS BASED ON THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE FLEDGE PARTIES.

4.3. This release does not apply to: (a) the gross negligence, recklessness or intentional misconduct of a Fledge Party; or (b) any liability that cannot be released, excluded or limited under applicable law.

4.4. This release applies in addition to Sections 12 (Disclaimers) and 13 (Limitation of Liability) of the Terms, which apply to Events.

5. Reports and emergencies

5.1. Fledge is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) first.

5.2. You can report a User Event, a Host or a guest with the Report function in the Services or by email to support@fledge.love, including after the Event. Section 7.3 of the Terms applies to reports.

5.3. Fledge may remove a User Event or restrict a Host or a guest at any time. Fledge is not responsible for any costs you incur if a User Event is cancelled, changed or removed.

6. Your information

When you sign up, the Host and the other guests can see that you have signed up and can see your profile, and you can see the guest list and the full address of the Event, as described in Section 5.2.5 of the Privacy Policy. By signing up you ask us to show this information to them.

7. Time limit for claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim against the Fledge Parties arising out of or relating to a User Event must be commenced within one (1) year after the date of the Event; otherwise it is permanently barred.

8. Disputes and governing law

Sections 15 (Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Class Action Waiver) and 16 (Governing Law and Venue) of the Terms apply to any dispute arising out of or relating to these Attendee Terms or a User Event.

9. Acceptance and changes

9.1. You accept these Attendee Terms by ticking the acceptance box when you sign up for a User Event. You accept them separately for each User Event you sign up for. We keep a record of your acceptance.

9.2. We may update these Attendee Terms. The version that applies to a User Event is the version you accepted when you signed up for it.

10. Local law

Nothing in these Attendee Terms excludes or limits any right that you have under mandatory consumer protection law and that cannot be waived by contract. If any part of Section 3, 4 or 7 is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies to the maximum extent permitted there, and the remaining provisions stay in force.
