Official Event Terms

Date of publication: October 14, 2026

These Official Event Terms apply each time you sign up for an in-person event that is identified in the Events section of Fledge as hosted by Fledge (an “Official Event”). They are Additional Terms under Section 2.4 of the Fledge Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and form part of your agreement with Fleamily Inc. (d/b/a Fledge) (“Fledge”, “we”, “us”). Capitalized terms that are not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. Events created by users are governed by the Attendee Event Terms instead.

PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL EVENT TERMS CAREFULLY. SECTIONS 5 AND 6 CONTAIN AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND A RELEASE OF CLAIMS AGAINST FLEDGE, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF FLEDGE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE EVENT.

1. Organizer, partner and venue

1.1. The organizer of an Official Event is Fledge, unless the listing identifies another person as the organizer (a “Partner”). Where a Partner is identified as the organizer, the Partner organizes and runs the Event and is responsible for it, and Fledge promotes the Event and provides the sign-up technology.

1.2. Official Events are held at venues operated by third parties. The operator of the venue is responsible for the premises, its staff and security, and for the sale and service of food and alcohol.

1.3. The listing may contain additional rules for a particular Official Event (for example, a dress code or a minimum age above 18). Those rules form part of these Official Event Terms.

2. Sign-up and admission

2.1. Official Events are for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old. You may be asked at the entrance to show your sign-up confirmation and a government-issued photo ID proving your age.

2.2. Your sign-up is personal and cannot be passed to another person. Places are limited, and admission may be refused when the venue has reached its capacity.

2.3. The organizer may change or cancel an Official Event. We will tell you through the Services. To the extent permitted by law, Fledge is not responsible for travel or other costs you incur.

2.4. Where the Services show that a guest is verified, this means only that a selfie submitted by that User matched the User’s profile photos. FLEDGE DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON GUESTS.

3. Conduct

3.1. The Community Guidelines apply at Official Events. You must follow the rules of the venue and the lawful instructions of event and venue staff.

3.2. Fledge, the Partner and the venue may refuse admission to, or remove, any person whose conduct breaches these Official Event Terms or the Community Guidelines or creates a risk to others, and Fledge may take Enforcement Actions under Section 11 of the Terms.

4. Alcohol

4.1. Alcohol at Official Events is sold and served only by the licensed venue and only to persons aged 21 or over. Fledge does not sell or serve alcohol.

4.2. You are responsible for how much you drink and for getting home safely. Do not drive after drinking.

5. Assumption of risk

5.1. An Official Event is an in-person gathering of people who mostly do not know each other. You take part voluntarily.

5.2. You understand and accept the risks of attending, travelling to and from, and taking part in an Official Event, including the risk of:

  • bodily injury, illness and death;
  • loss of or damage to property;
  • emotional distress;
  • the conduct of other guests, the Partner, venue staff and other third parties, including harassment, assault, theft and fraud;
  • the consumption of alcohol or other substances by you or by others;
  • the condition of the venue and its surroundings;
  • cancellation of the Event or changes to it.

5.3. You assume these risks to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Release

6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Fledge, its parent and affiliated entities and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and licensors (the “Fledge Parties”) from all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to an Official Event, including your attendance, your travel to and from the Event and the acts or omissions of other guests, the Partner, the venue or any other third party, and you agree not to bring any such claim against the Fledge Parties.

6.2. THIS RELEASE INCLUDES CLAIMS BASED ON THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE FLEDGE PARTIES.

6.3. This release does not apply to: (a) the gross negligence, recklessness or intentional misconduct of a Fledge Party; (b) any liability that cannot be released, excluded or limited under applicable law; or (c) where you paid a fee for admission to an Official Event held at a place of amusement or recreation or a similar establishment in New York, any claim for which New York General Obligations Law § 5-326 makes such a release void.

6.4. Sections 12 (Disclaimers) and 13 (Limitation of Liability) of the Terms apply to Official Events to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Photos and video

7.1. Photos and video may be taken at Official Events by Fledge, the Partner or the venue.

7.2. Fledge uses photos or video in which you are identifiable for advertising or marketing only if you gave your separate consent when you signed up. That consent is optional: you can attend without giving it, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to support@fledge.love. After you withdraw it, we make no new use of such materials.

7.3. Do not photograph or record other guests without their consent.

8. Your information

8.1. When you sign up, Fledge and the other guests can see that you have signed up and can see your profile, as described in Section 5.2.5 of the Privacy Policy.

8.2. Where the Partner or the venue needs a guest list to admit guests, Fledge shares with them the information needed for admission (such as your name) with your consent given at sign-up, as described in Section 5.2.7 of the Privacy Policy.

9. Emergencies and reports

9.1. Fledge is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) first and tell the event or venue staff.

9.2. You can report an Official Event or a guest with the Report function in the Services or by email to support@fledge.love, including after the Event.

10. Accessibility

If you need an accommodation to attend an Official Event, please write to support@fledge.love as early as possible before the Event. See also our Accessibility Statement.

11. Time limit for claims; disputes

11.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim against the Fledge Parties arising out of or relating to an Official Event must be commenced within one (1) year after the date of the Event; otherwise it is permanently barred.

11.2. Sections 15 (Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Class Action Waiver) and 16 (Governing Law and Venue) of the Terms apply to any dispute arising out of or relating to these Official Event Terms or an Official Event.

12. Acceptance and changes

12.1. You accept these Official Event Terms by ticking the acceptance box when you sign up for an Official Event. You accept them separately for each Official Event you sign up for. We keep a record of your acceptance.

12.2. We may update these Official Event Terms. The version that applies to an Official Event is the version you accepted when you signed up for it.

13. Local law

Nothing in these Official Event Terms excludes or limits any right that you have under mandatory consumer protection law and that cannot be waived by contract. If any part of Section 5, 6 or 11 is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies to the maximum extent permitted there, and the remaining provisions stay in force.
